About Just A Touch of Love, Inc...

Just a Touch Of Love, Inc. is a 501(3c) non-profit organization founded by Shonna McKnight and is based in Las Vegas, Nevada. Ms. McKnight founded the organization in 2006 starting out as an independent living program for teens and young adults ages 17-26. The independent living program provided teens with stable housing, the opportunity to practice independent living skills, daycare assistance, as well as educational guidance. The “Dare to Dream” Transitional to Independent Living program is designed to encourage the personal development for individuals and offers individual service plans to empower youth and adults to build personal life goals. As the Dare to Dream Transitional to Independent Living program began to blossom, the Dare to Dream Behavioral Healthcare program was created to also meet the needs of individuals with mental health problems and those who suffer from trauma. The Dare to Dream Behavioral Healthcare program is designed to assist children, teens, and adults with learning rehabilitative skills that improve their overall functioning level and coping skills. The program provides psychosocial rehabilitation services, basic life skills training, individual and family therapy, day treatment, and life solutions workshops.
